Scholarships

All of the Documentary Arts Asia workshops will have at least two free scholarship seats.

Best to introduce yourself to DAA by filling out the scholarship form and we will invite you to the most appropriate workshop as soon as we have space available

Scholarship seats will be given to carefully selected students who show:

1)  The motivation to use their skills for a greater good

2)  Intimate access to and knowledge of under-represented communities / issues

3)  Difficulty accessing other trainings

All questions regarding our scholarship program should be directed to scholarships@doc-arts.asia.

For image-making workshops, including a link to a photo or film portfolio will help us place you in the most appropriate class for your level and needs. If you don’t have a portfolio yet, this is an excellent excuse to start one!

Organizations who have received scholarships include, Child’s Dream, The Best Friend Library, Human Rights Education Network of Burma, We Women, The Kachin Women’s Association Thailand (KWAT), Beam and others.
